First you must complete and return the application for rent assistance.  Your name will then be place on our waiting list.  Once selected from the waiting list a Housing Specialist will contact you and will need to see if you qualify for the program.  On the Rent Assistance program, tenants pay 30% of their adjusted monthly income toward rent and utilities and the HRA pays the balance.

This depends on your income, the number of people in your household, where you live, and other criteria.  Once you receive your letter stating you have been placed on our waiting list, please feel free to contact our office for the length of time the waiting list will be.

You must remain in our eight county service area. You can rent a house, apartment, town home, mobile home as long as they pass our inspection and our rent guidelines.
