Job Posting for Executive Director

The Northwest Minnesota Multi County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Executive Director (ED). The HRA serves numerous counties in northwest Minnesota.  The ED is responsible for managing all HRA activities and staff.

 

The ED serves at-will and is accountable to the HRA Board of Commissioners. The ED assumes full responsibility for all agency services.

Eligible applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in public administration, finance or accounting or a closely related field. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of integrity, a sound working knowledge of the housing industry and have five or more years of housing related experience. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with the general public.  A competitive compensation package will be offered.  Salary is commensurate with experience and education.

Seasonal Part-Time Employee (Snow Removal)

Supervisor:  Maintenance Director

Rate of Pay:  $12-14.00 per hour

Date of Employment:   November 2018 thru April 2019

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Director, the part-time seasonal employee will perform snow removal of the sidewalks, office and apartment entrances, concrete parking areas and by garage entry to include the city dumpster located in the parking lot. Disperse salt as needed to avoid slippery conditions. Occasionally, as determined by Maintenance Director, snow may need to be removed from roof with a shovel or roof rake. Work to be performed at the HRA property, 1708 River Road NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721 on a seasonal, as-needed basis of 6-8 hours per week.  A walk behind snow blower will be provided along with material needed to complete the required duties. If additional time is needed to bring these areas to an acceptable condition, the part-time employee must notify the Maintenance Director in advance.  The part-time seasonal employee must have a good working relationship with the Maintenance Director and be responsive to completing tasks in inclement weather. Safety of the residents and visitors is imperative as is safety for the employee who must take necessary precautions to prevent injuries. For more details, click here.
